Storyline

Long ago, before the grim times of the Holy Crusade, before Excalibur was withdrawn from the stone, even before the vicious wars of the Han Dynasty, a race was created to protect those without strength or the ability to fend for themselves. Rumors were spread, believing it was the work of gods or good deeds that kept them alive; however, the truth was much different. Souls left behind from some of the most profound warriors of time came together to form a pact… with the ultimate goal to protect humanity. Protect it from the demons that fed off the human soul. Thirteen souls battled gallantly against the masked demons, and those with a soul powerful enough to watch these, soon gave them a name… Shinigami. The name was different in all races, though all had a similar meaning, Death God. And for years to come these thirteen protected who they use to have been, hoping for a society better than theirs. As time passed, souls slowly flew to the afterlife, joining these thirteen in ultimate sanctuary. As the population increased, so did the demon’s taste for souls. It was decided by those thirteen warriors that they needed help. Ultimately a division was formed, under the name of Gotei 13. Realizing that order was needed in the soul world, they elected the most intelligent and most reliable men and women to take roles as a council for the soul world. This council decided on many things, including ranks of the Gotei 13, the name of the soul world, and the name of their enemies. From then on, the original Gotei 13 were all named captains for a division, the soul world was known as Soul Society (divided by Seireitei and Rukongai.), and their enemies were given a name… the Hollow. However, as time passed so did the rule of the council, and in time a royal family was created… a family to overrule all. Soon Gotei 13’s fame dropped, and they were just known as the military branch of Soul Society. More years passed and experiments were tested on souls… hoping to create something powerful in the world. Everything seemed to be working smoothly until an accident occurred and the souls were let free into the human world. These souls soon manifested and over the years two clans were created; both with different goals. The Quincy, those with the soul power of a shinigami have learned to wield their reiatsu as a weapon that retains the shape of a bow. They too share the same goals as the Shinigami… to eradicate the hollow, though they aren’t on good terms with Soul Society. The other clan is more parasitic, and has learned to use their powers in a different way. These ‘Bount’ have managed to summon a celestial being that serves as a partner and guardian of them. However, they must also sign a pact of life and death with them. Both races hate each other, as well as the Shinigami for abandoning them in the world, just because they weren’t what they were looking for. Hundreds of years into the future, much in the human world has changed. Many of the countries went under the process of a technologic revolution, and many are still under the process. Lives are lived peacefully, and attacks of hollows are quite rare as the Gotei 13 perform their job well. Unfortunately, not everything went well. The original 13 warriors now have outlived their youthfulness, and are weakening greatly. With a final wish to reinstate chosen captains themselves, many candidates become eligible. More so, recent news has been shared of a few fallen Shinigami that hope to lead the Hollow into victory over Soul Society. In addition, there have been reports of hybrid beings, mixed of Hollow and Shinigami. They are still rare, and have yet to show their power amongst the world. Many know that a war will occur in the near future, and the Shinigami know one thing… this war will effect the human world as well as Soul Society…

Real World
	Karakura Town (3 sub-boards) A small town that has birthed the most humans with powerful souls this generation. It is common to find Hollow attacks here.	0	0
	Takachiho (2 sub-boards) A city in Japan blessed with beautiful scenery. Though it may look just like a tourist attraction, in truth many of the Quincy secretly reside here.	0	0
	Tallin (1 sub-board) The capital of Estonia. A very cold city that has attracted a lot of attention. Not only by Hollow, but it is where much of the Bount reside, hoping to find peace.	0	0
	Zadar (1 sub-board) A city in Croatia that has a large Croatian population. Over the years it has become a hit tourist attraction, and a feeding ground for Hollows.	0	0
	Seattle (2 sub-boards) A cold city on the western coast of the United States. It is visited by constant rain and a large has a large attraction from East Asia. It provides yet another feeding ground for Hollows.	0	0
Soul Society
	Seireitei A large metropolis in Soul Society. This is the residence for all Gotei 13, as well as the council. Heavy walls guard the city, making it almost impenetrable.	0	0
	Rukongai (4 sub-boards) A village spot of Soul Society that boarders the vast walls of Seireitei. There are 80 districts in each direction of Rukongai, starting with 1 (being closest to Seireitei) and moving out. As you get further, the area becomes much more rural.	0	0
	Other Areas Other areas around Soul Society. Much of the land is just scenery, though occasionally you may come across a small town, some houses, or monuments.	0	0
Heuco Mundo
	Los Noches A strong fortress residing in Heuco Mundo. It is a bit more humane than most of the world, and is supposedly the place the Arrancar stay.	0	0
	The Plains Most of Heuco Mundo are vast plains. The desert area is cursed with white dunes that have many diseased shrubbery, trees, as well as battered boulders. It is almost always nighttime here with the crescent moon shining upon the land.	0	0
